  26.    Well actually it comes from the IBM Mainframe. However I believe Arexx
  27.    has actually slipped behind the current IBM version of REXX. There is
  28.    a group that oversees REXX and I believe they meet every year, but 
  29.    really don't know who they are or when they meet. My point is that
  30.    REXX is very much alive and still evolving . I think that a large
  31.    part of success with Arexx is the Amiga developers embraced it and
  32.    it has become a very valuable tool on that platform. Lets face it
  33.    if you had REXX on the PC today it would talk to maybe LW. People
  34.    tend to forget that Arexx gets its usefullness from the fact that most
  35.    serious applications have the Arexx PORT built into them. I think MS has
  36.    their own Ideas on interprocess communication, macro languages etc.
